Urwah High School (Rahmathnagar)

This school was incorporated in the year 2003-04 as the first project of the Trust to cater to the educational needs of poor Muslim children living in slum localities of Yousufguda, Hyderabad. This is a standout school in which along with the state Govt. syllabus, four additional subjects i.e., Quran, Hadith, Fiqh and History of Islam are being taught. Alhumdulillah, it is functioning successfully with the strength of about 500 students. So far, 16 batches of 10th class appeared in the State Board Examinations and passed in flying colours. The Trust has constructed a new building on the open site of this school spanning over an area of 22000 sq. ft. We hope that we will be able to accommodate more students in this new building. Subsequently, there will be considerable increase in the strength of the school. We are also planning to offer coaching for State and National level competitive exams. For the last 22 years, this school is working in a rented building.

Library:

A library has been set up in the school. A large collection of books have been made available for the benefit of the students. In the school time table, the library period has also been considered in order to inculcate reading habits among the students. The students are being encouraged by the teachers and the management to spend more and more time in the library.
