URWAH EDUCATIONAL TRUST

This Madrasa is an initiative of Urwah Educational Trust to ensure the integration of Modern & Islamic Education. This Madrasa offers Alima – SSC Course at one go. Here Girls are taught Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, Islamic history, the Arabic Language along with all regular subjects i.e. Maths, Science, English, Social as well as Urdu. Insha Allah, this institution will play a pivotal role in creating Islamic awareness among Muslim women. On completion of our course, girls can continue their higher education without any hindrance. Currently about 400 students are studying in this institution. Alhumdulillah, through this Madrasa, the Trust succeeded in producing about 100 Alima (Graduates in Islamic studies).

This school was incorporated in the year 2003-04 as the first project of the Trust to cater to the educational needs of poor Muslim children living in slum localities of Yousufguda, Hyderabad. This is a standout school in which along with the state Govt. syllabus, four additional subjects i.e., Quran, Hadith, Fiqh and History of Islam are being taught. Alhumdulillah, it is functioning successfully with the strength of about 500 students. So far, seven batches of 10th class appeared in the State Board Examinations and passed in flying colours. For the last twelve years, this school is working in a rented building.

The Trust started its second school on 15th, June 2007 at Naya Khila, Golconda, Hyderabad. This school is operating on the lines of Urwah High School (Rahmath Nagar) with an intake of 480 students. It is to be noted that this school owns approximately 1100 square yards of land purchased by the Trust in March 2007.

The Trust started its third school on 18th June 2009 at Borabanda, a thickly populated Muslim locality. This school is functioning in a four storey building owned by the Trust which consists of 19 classrooms and a multipurpose Hall. Presently, more than 600 students are studying in this school. Like our other schools, this school is also imparting modern and Islamic education together. So far, two batches of 10th class appeared in the State Board Examinations and got excellent grades.
